access to perl at a small linux box

[lux-6]

I have a smaill linux box (MyBookWorld NAS) with this system

Linux MyBookWorld 2.6.17.14 #1 PREEMPT Fri Jan 18 10:40:25 GMT 2008 armv5tejl GNU/Linux
 
as normal user, i get error when access perl, alike this:

[MyBookWorld 10:52:28|~] perl -V
perl: can't resolve symbol '__guard'

if I use the root priviliage as

sudo perl -V
it works

Where ot fix this?

Hm, I can't get to the link.
