a t2-6.0 build problem

I installed t2 to a partition on an opteron machine using the x86-64 t2-6.0.0 liveCD. I can build a "generic" t2-6.0 system fine. However, when I tried to build a t2-6.0 "desktop" system, I got an error building the sysfiles package. Below is part of the content of the1-sysfiles.err file. What preceeds the error is a "patching file - - -" line. The 1-sysfiles.log file for generic build does not contain such a line. I do not know where this "patching file" instruction comes from. (I am not sure if this means that the t2 source or the source code for any packages on my machine is corrupted. When I ran "./scripts/Download -cfg desktop1 -required" before doing the build, everything was fine. There is a kdebase package under "download".) Any hint about what I can do?

Hi,
it is quite some time since I last built 6.0, maybe that looks like a bug in applying the desktop etc/profile patch, which is fixed in newer T2 versions. I try to take a look and fix this later. If you do not really need a red for root and green for other users prompt you could delete the patch to temporarily build the target or fix it to only apply once, e.g. merge the trunk fix.
