XML Security C++ binaries size on Linux

Hello,

1. What are settings for configure to minimize size of binaries of XML Security C (v.1.3.1) without XALAN, no debug symbols)

2. i have got around 10MB on SuSE Linux - it looks too big - what is expected size (ballpark)
