X10 Powerlinc on KeySpan USB dongle

Hello;

I am trying to move my x10 setup over to my new Centos5 machine that
(currently) has no serial ports.   I am attempting to use my KeySpan
USB-to-Serial connector and attaching the Serial-Powerlinc to that.  
Installation of x10dev2 went fine.

Here is my syslog output as I do the mod probe and bring up the 3
processes manually:

As you can see, it's getting a "Timeout reading from ..." after starting
up the x10pld daemon.

Has anyone else gotten a setup like this to work???
