X10 Powerlinc on KeySpan USB dongleHello;
I am trying to move my x10 setup over to my new Centos5 machine that (currently) has no serial ports. I am attempting to use my KeySpan USB-to-Serial connector and attaching the Serial-Powerlinc to that. Installation of x10dev2 went fine. Here is my syslog output as I do the mod probe and bring up the 3 processes manually: Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial Driver core Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial support registered for Keyspan - (without firmware) Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial support registered for Keyspan 1 port adapter Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial support registered for Keyspan 2 port adapter Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial support registered for Keyspan 4 port adapter Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: usb 4-2: Keyspan 1 port adapter converter now attached to ttyUSB0 Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: usbcore: registered new driver keyspan Aug 28 16:56:03 centos5 kernel: drivers/usb/serial/keyspan.c: v1.1.4:Keyspan USB to Serial Converter Driver ... Has anyone else gotten a setup like this to work??? Thanks in advance, David ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
