Hi

This is Ravishankar R studying IV year of Bachelor of Technology in National Institute of technology, Trichy, India.I am new to K3B.

My friend and I have taken up writing secure CD as a project.  We are new users to Linux.  We just came across your site.  We were fascinated by the commands and power of CD writing tools in linux.

As our Title of the project is Secured CD.  What we intend to achieve is after writing some data in a CD say a movie file.  Once the CD is inserted into the CD ROM the movie will start to play. Once the movie gets over the data in the CD has to be automatically erased.  Will it be possible.  If a command which runs at the end of a CD like in the case of installing a setup file the finish command is there, which will automatically run a script to erase the data in a CD.  At present we are doing in only on a CD writer.  The script if it runs and even if it manages to open a CD writing software it is fine.  Once the last track is read, it should automatically run a script and erase all the data in the CD.  Kindly help us

Eagerly waiting for your reply..

Thanking you

Ravishankar R
