Hi,

I'm looking to script some basic buglist queries, and possibly bug
update requests, from the windows command line to BugZilla as part of an
automated build system.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any tools getting around for this for
Windows, only for Linux environments. Our BugZilla server is v2.22.1 and
I'm hoping someone out there may have come across an approach or tool
that will be suitable for what I'm trying to achieve.

Regards,
Jason

There are perl and python scripts available in the contrib directory.
There are perl and python CLI applications for windows too.  Take a look
there first.

I checked the contrib folders of a number of different BugZilla
releases, but the solutions and scripts offered there all seem to be
unix/linux orientated.

The closest to a solution I came to was the reference to BugzProxy from
the 3rd party add-ons section. Unfortunately this tool and the xmlrpc
that it relies on, are only compatible with Bugzilla 3.0 onwards.

Our server version is 2.22. When I try to use the BugzProxy library with
our current BugZilla server version, the XML response formats aren't
recognised, so the communication falls over.

I'd rather not have to upgrade our BugZilla server if we don't have to,
so if there are any other avenues people can recommend I check, then
that'd be much appreciated.

Regards,
Jason
