Hi folks!
I'd like to propose the students not to touch your original proposal and move it
to a User:YourUserName/GsocApplication and start a new article were you will
document your progress during Gsco. Something like
User:YourUserName/GsocProject. (actually you may go wild (Tims word :) on your
wiki name space, you may create as many page as you find necessary)
There you should set your goals for the next week (or the next 2 weeks). Also
you can begin documenting resources about your project (links to resources,
document programming decisions, thoughts you would like to leave). (oriented to
developers)
But the documentation of your plugins should go on the plugin page, like for
example, this: (oriented to users)
http://www.k-3d.org/wiki/CatmullClarkhttp://www.k-3d.org/wiki/BendPointsAlthough there is a problem with this system. More on that in a later topic. (in
case you have user oriented documentation, leave it on your wiki page by now)
Besides you may want to say when you will start working full time, some of you
have duties for the University. Just publish the date here in the list, or on
your wiki page. But your weekly goals should go on the wiki, even if it is small
at the start.
I also will start a wiki page on Gsoc to state my weekly goals, so other people
may be aware of my activities.
In fact, this is a proposal, let's see what Tim and Bart says. Also I'd like to
hear others opinion.
Cheers!
JoaquĆn
