Folks:

Looks like Bart has committed an amusing fix for rendering problems on
Windows Vista, one which reminds me of a line from the Simpsons: "Yup,
here's your problem - someone set this thing to 'Evil' ..."

Anyway, the thought crossed my mind that this is a great use-case for an
auto-start plugin.  Bart, you might try moving this code down near the
call to "create_auto_start_plugins()" to confirm that it still works
after the UI has started.  Assuming it does, it could be moved into the
"win32" module.

Yeah, I saw that episode. Very funny :)

Done, and still works like a charm! Note to X3100 users: you might
want to upgrade your drivers as well. The fix only worked for me after
an upgrade. Some issues remain, the most important one being that the
manipulators dissapear when selecting faces or edges.
