Valve covers

Hi all,
The clown that removed my valve covers put them all in the same box. When I looked at them I noticed that the inside of two are smooth, while the other two have raised ridges. No numbers to match with any sites that have exploded views, as well as no exploded views show interior of covers. Any idea of which may attach to inlet/outlet valves, or does it not make a difference. This is for a 1984 1000 xv.
Thanks

No help there. I have the book and there is no mention of the interiors of the covers being different. Wondering if they were bought and installed by previous owner from another model. The same owner who installed the oil baffle plate into the front motor.

I am getting ready to replace mine with some polished ones and will be taking them off one at a time and doing my valves while I am at it. I will let you know how they are configured. It appears that one of each type goes on each cylinder.
