Hello,
I installed SCIM as well as Smart Pinyin and Chewing packages on my Ubuntu 8.04.
I tested Chewing but it doesn't really suit me (I'm really not used to
bopomofo, and it requires to input the tone for every character).
So I'm now using Smart Pinyin, which works really well, and is really
smart (eg. when typing "woshifaguoren" it finds all the matching
characters to make the correct sentence "I am French"). But it's using
simplified characters.
Is there an option to use Smart Pinyin with traditional characters?
I found out an option in the toolbar, when clicking on the "δΈ" icon
several times, I end up on something that uses traditional characters,
but it's not smart anymore and when I type "woshifaguoren", I end up
with a meaningless sentence in Chinese (sorry I can't show you now,
I'm not on my own computer)...
Thanks in advance!
