I copy the three statements that seemed that special meaning for me.
The office of priest is a service, no a privilege.
I understand the call of God must be done by obedience like He has established. This is not something by my choice or personal convenience. I can’t invent anything. Some strategy elements may be change but the main functions are the same all time: to mediate, teaching and more.
The call includes: a divine encounter, a divine commission, resistance by the prophet, reassurance, and a sign.
This was observed in the Jeremiah’s experience but is common to see it in other cases. I remember a divine commission and a sign. I wished it but I didn’t want to do alone. I needed God gave me a sign.
Jesus’ imperious call is also an imperial call.
This means the urgency and mandatory of the calling of God but also, the reaches. This is not limited to the spiritual area; it includes emotional, physical and financial area too. It implies to convert this corrupt system to the God’s model of life into the kingdom of God.
I will serve to God with determination. I’ll do an effort work for provoke changes like God wants in me, my family, the church and the society.
