Dear all,

new releases of the UNICORE 6 core servers (and also the commandline client)
are available from http://www.unicore.eu/downloads

This release fixes a number of bugs, and also bring some new features (details
below)

As usual you can install using the graphical installer (jar file) or the
commandline installer (tgz).

Update notes:

An update.sh script is available (Unix only) that will replace some files in
an existing UNICORE installation with their new versions. If you update
manually, please note that the gateway start script (gateway/bin/start.sh) needs to be replaced as well.

Major changes:
**************

General:
  - improved adduser.sh script (will wait for xuudb startup now)

Gateway:
  - bug fixes related to character encoding (thanks to Dmitry Sheremetev)
  - server listens only on named interface (sf bug #2009510)
  - fix missing soap:Header insertion for plain webservices
  - basic support for AJP protocol for using the Apache web server
as frontend to the gateway (sf feature #1989544)
  - renamed base package to eu.unicore.gateway (implies start script
    and wrapper.conf changes)

UNICORE/X:
  - fix critical credential cache bug (potentially led to wrong xlogin being used)
  - "Name" property on target system factory service
  - "ReservationReference" property on targetsystems (sf feature #1994797)
  - "AvailableTargetSystemReference" property on TSF
  - "OperatingSystem" resource property on TSF and TSS
  - report status "QUEUED" correctly (sf bug #1993341)
  - fixes in published WSDL (thanks to Andre Hoeing)
  - fix proxy support using XUUDB
  - honor DeleteOnTermination flag in JSDL stage in elements

TSI
  - new TSI for the SLURM batch system (thanks to BSC and Xavier Delaruelle
    from CEA)
  - minor bug fixes

XUUDB:
  - improved support for multiple xlogins (sf bug #1996814)
  - server listens only on named interface (sf bug #2009510)

Commandline client:
  - fix batch mode on Windows (job files were not deleted)
  - use new getAvailableTSS() function (reduces general
load and number of "access denied" events on the servers)

Thanks to all who were involved in testing and building this release!

Best regards,
Bernd.
