Hello,
I have just finished to integrate with the Metastorage distribution the
XMI to Metastorage tool developed by Peter Howard.
In case you do not know, XMI is a XML based standard format used to
export software project descriptions defined using the UML visual language.
The tool that Peter developed is basically a XSL stylesheet with some
wrapper scripts that can extract class diagrams from XMI files and
convert them in Metastorage component definition format (CPML).
Additionally I implemented a Web interface to make it easier for those
that prefer a GUI like interface.
This will be part of next release, but you can try it already from the
latest CVS snapshots:
http://www.meta-language.net/download.html#cvsYou may also want to take a look to some documentation for this tool
that I added:
http://www.meta-language.net/xmi2ms.htmlSince this was the first external project to be integrated in the
Metastorage distribution, I also took the chance to add a page about the
people that is developing and contributing for Metastorage development.
For now it just lists Peter and me, but I hope in the future more
contributors can be added there.
http://www.meta-language.net/team.htmlFor now, I will be finishing the implementation of the OQL not in
operator has I have been discussing here with Carl Michael Skog, and I
hope to make next release early on the incoming week.
