How about a re-ride between you 4. We will just see if it would have made a difference!

Hey now, outside of Joe Dirt, D & D is on my top hit list.

What you got dere boy is frozen t?rd!

Anyway my TT rig is like that Johnny Cash caddy song.  Not hardly as fancy as a brand spanking new Calfee rig.  But hey if you wanna run em, As Rick Flair say's Whoooooooo!

I pulled more juice at the front of the pace line in a head wind tonight, right Lance?

Yea were racing together this weekend LOL

Update... I talked to Ruben this morning and they are going to have a couple of tropheys and some give aways, so I told him to go ahead and engrave VT bike stuff on the winniners trophey!  Just kidding but I did want to pass that along about the tropheys and the giveaways, he's trying to make this an annual event. It is a nice ride except for a couple of cattle gaurds, short of that probably the best ride  here in Howard county, hope to see you there.

Gaylon,

Can you post the directions to the blast off line for those coming in the the East and West?

O.K, go to Big Spring, turn south on Hwy 87, go all the way through town then drive approximatly 8-10 miles and start watching for the Forsan turn off, it will be on the left, turn left and go I think about 2 or 3 miles and then you should be getting pretty close to the large metropolis of Forsan, turn left on just about any paved street(going left) and in about two or three blocks you will run into the school. If you miss it back track and start over. Or just call me and we can meet up and go together. 432.213.0623 Thanks

Blue Train rolled really well.  VT boys included Lance, Gaylon, Richard, Blake, Steve, and myself.  We sent various guy's off the front which forced the two Delirum guy's to react each time.  Eventually it took its toll on our two host.  Andy Orsa from the Chaps and Richard went off the front on the trip back to Forsan.  Richard was a beast and hung with Andy for a good while.  Like me, the hills started to become a grind and we rode in together.  image='smiley_argh.gif' text=':-U' />

Gaylon finished second and Lance played the tactics really well for Gaylon and ended up 4th.

Kye, Lisa, and Helen participated.

Hat's off to Jim and Ruben from Team Delirum for some great riding, eating, awards and of course some great carbs.  Sure hope we can make this an ongoing event.

PS: I will try and post the picture of Gaylon with his trophy, it is HUGE!<smiley

I would say the Blue Train was smokin, everyone did an awsome job and the food and beverages were great, team strategy was awsome, thanks to Lightening Lance who was a marked man from the start. I believe the delerium guys were worried about Lance breakin away cause they always had at least one guy on him always, team tactics are soo much fun. Great job to everone and I hope all had as much fun as I did. And Yes Scott I am so proud of my trophy, we could proudly display it at the bike shop in our soon to be needed trophy case. GO VT BIKE STUFF!!!!!

Spoke with Jim today and he was impressed with the turn out from VTBS.  We are looking at some possible RR areas arond Odessa/Midland and I know there are some great roads in A town......anything with STEAMBOAT is good for some.

Jim asked if any of us were thinking about coming to Lubbock this weekend for the CAC ride.  Only person I know of might be Lance.  Sure hate to have the roles reversed on him over last weekend.

Tom, you might want to get started on the tropy case cause Gaylond is going to be bringing that cup over soon.

Be sure to put your trophy at the top of the case as it will be the first of its size. I don't think anyone will ever come close to it.  Had a great time and some great riding experience. Which is riding in the back making sure no one is left behind. It can be hard work staying back and trying not to make a break to the front.  Go Team!

Helen

Lance is somewhere in CO at a company "conference" or so he said.

I will look for the info on the ride this weekend, CAC and post.  If I can get out of a trip to Winters Saturday I may be there.

I think that Team D has some payback in mind.
