Thoughts on Public vs Private Keyserver for GPG

Is the trouble of setting up a private keyserver worth it for a small office considering the effort, bandwidth, CPU, disk space that running/maintaining one would require?  

I have read several articles and posts about public vs private, but would appreciate some real world examples of what has worked for others.
