I'ver never seen the show Rome. That square-headed bloke from Elgin who was in Trainspotting puts me off it.

the tudors is pretty good. we watched the first season on DVD recently. i'm not forking out for showtime on my telly, so i'll have to wait until the next season hits DVD. now, when george r.r. martin's series of books is turned into a series(currently in filming), i'll pay $15 a month for that.

Can't watch a show with too many English people. It reminds me of the inherent ugliness of these people, both physical and spiritual.

I've never read the Martin book, but might do once I get a few work-related things finished up. As for the Tudors, I'm really enjoying the series so far ... Thomas More's always been a favourite historical figure of mine. I'm probably going to use snippets in class!
