The Actual Naming of OSC

I have been looking at various papers and they each display Open Sound
Control differently

Matt's paper
http://archive.cnmat.berkeley.edu/ICMC97/papers-html/OpenSoundControl.html

Has no space between 'Sound' And 'Control'; i.e. Open SoundControl

The Specification
http://opensoundcontrol.org/spec-1_0

Has a space between all the words

Other papers have no space between 'Open' and 'Sound'

So which is the correct one?

The short answer is, use "Open Sound Control".

The other form one may encounter is "OpenSound Control", but we don't use that anymore.  Any additional forms you may encounter are probably unintentional.  Matt Wright explained the historical details to me once, which I would quote for you here, but I can't seem to find that email right now.

Some well-meaning individual assumed that the latter is the preferred convention and renamed the Wikipedia page to "OpenSound Control" and put a redirect in for the other form.    If anyone knows how to switch this back, please do -- last time I looked into it, it appeared to be a somewhat complex process (not just like editing a page).

For what it's worth, the "Reply-to" header for this list still
uses "OpenSound Control", I assume you'll want to change that.

Thanks again for the site improvements!
