Testgtk GtkAda Test failure

I have built and installed GtkAda-2.8.1.
When I run testgtk all tests seem to work except GtkAda Canvas which  
hangs testgtk and  produces in the terminal window:

(testgtk:2435): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot register existing type  
`PangoLayout'

(testgtk:2435): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion  
`initialization_value != 0' failed

(testgtk:2435): Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_layout_get_pixel_extents:  
assertion `PANGO_IS_LAYOUT (layout)' failed

(testgtk:2435): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_height:  
assertion `pixbuf != NULL' failed

(testgtk:2435): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_width: assertion  
`pixbuf != NULL' failed

(testgtk:2435): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_draw_pixbuf: assertion  
`GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed

Advice requested.
Also, what is the number 2435 referring to?

Problem found (but not fixed yet)!

There appears to be a problem with Pango.Layout.Get_Pixel_Size.

Deleting calls to Get_Pixel_Size in GtkAda/src gtkada-mdi.adb and

GtkAda/src/gtkada-canvas allows the GtkAda demo canvas to display successfully and interactively.
