Hello PSPP users.

I installed PSPP on Windows and use it through Cygwin. However, i would like to use it in the terminal mode, as the gui version does not have all the features already implemented (I need to use the Examine feature).

How ca i do that??

Thanks.   Marcelo (Brazil).

I would expect that you can just run the "pspp" binary.  What
difficulty have you encountered?

It sounds like you will have to get help from someone who
understands how Cygwin works.  (I'm not in that category.)

1.  You should be able to use the terminal mode simply by typing
    "pspp".  If that doesn't work, then I suspect there's something
    wrong with your installation.

2.  In psppire, Examine is called "Explore" (for compatability with
    other software).  Find it through the menus
    Analyze->Descriptives->Explore

3.  Everything that can be done in terminal mode can also be done in
    the gui if you open a new syntax window: File->New->Syntax, enter
    your commands and select Run->All.

I hope this helps.
