Tellico 1.3.2 is available. It’s been a few months since the last release,
and some updates have accumulated.

    * Added languages and editors to Amazon.com search.
    * Fixed PubMed search to use UTF-8, and to include all keywords.
    * Updated MODS import to improve importing from RefBase and WIKINDX.
    * Updated XML file loading to remove duplicates and ignore white-space.
    * Added LCCN validation and multiple LCCN searching from z39.50 sources.
    * Improved IMDb search results.
    * Updated entry creation to always add default values.
    * Updated MODS conversion to add Canadian LCC values.

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know, the debian package is currently being uploaded,
but my repository will probably take more time than usual, as I'm
working this week-end, combined with some major water leaking problem in
my apartment.

That fixes Debian bug 481639, by the way.

Robby,

I just downloaded and built 1.3.2 on my Fedora 8 system,

It all seems to work, except that in the 'Edit Entry' dialogues I get
extra text saying _: Edit Label  by each field label. Is this possibly
because I have something missing?

best wishes

Mike

Ah, I bet you're using the en_GB translation, eh? Looks like I messed up a
script. I tried to run a GNOME script to do some automatic en_US->en_GB
changes, and I didn't look closely enough at the results. Try removing the
en_GB.po from the build.

I'll put out a 1.3.2.1 version with the fix.

you're too fast. I updated the German translation and extended
po/README. Please commit.

I suggest you ask for translation updates before releasing a new
version. Using podebconf-report-po from Debians package po-debconf:
$ podebconf-report-po --call --notdebconf --with-translators --podir=.
you can send a mail to all translators asking for updates.

You can also add --languageteam.

Jens

Sorry, I didn't noticed I'd hit reply, vice reply all...

Bad news though.. The plot summary from IMDB still doesn't pick up. And
from the last version on my book collection almost all of the covers
seem to show up  as an outline with the broken symbol in the upper left
corner.

Good news.. In movies the certification has been picked up again...

Thanks for all the hard work...

That might matter if I add new strings in minor-releases, but I don't. At
least, not unless there's a good reason. So translators can be sure there
is nothing new to translate in 1.3.1, 1.3.2, etc. Updates come as they
come.

Sorry, I must have missed the plot when I was fixing everything else. It's a
bit tricky, being on a different page and all.

IN other words, the cover images for the books you have aren't showing up?

Usually, I ask on the mailing list about any lingering bugs, too. I probably
should have done that. I had some free time yesterday, and figured I could
sit down to tag a release. Mike's email about an almost unusable
translation made me realize that I'd messed up running a script, and since
releases are cheap, I went ahead and made another one.

Incidently, do you or anyone else know how KDE4 does translations? I know
they completely changed the way context and plural forms are done, and I've
not yet done the research to figure out if the patched xgettext method is
still the way to do it.

Please don't apologize.. How do you handle it when there are multiple
plots. I saw one movie where there were 4, written by different people.

Yes..;^) The ones that did not have covers to start with do not have the
blank book in the right corner.

I got to give you another pat on the back. When I finally finish
cataloging the 1700+ SciFi books, I'd found about twenty or so
duplicates that didn't want, so I traded them in at the second hand book
store. I printed out my book list and never!! go shopping (second hand
or even new) without my list. Saves me money....

Another thing, your program brings up is the issue that I wish someone
would design a DB like IMDB but for books. Amazon is only fair, and
quite a few times has been really off the mark. I have to use at least
four sites (e.g. http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk,
http://www.locusmag.com/index/0start.html#TOC, http://www.iblist.com/)
and hope they have the synopsis or back cover blurb. /rant

Thanks again for an awesome program..

Thanks for pointing that out.

When I upload 1.3.2.1, I will try to include Jens' updated translation
