The Level II Technical Support Engineer is expected to troubleshoot and diagnose complex software problems and to interface with Sourcefire's product development team to provide solutions to the customer. Other duties also include Knowledge base maintenence, software testing, and internal training.Individuals must work well in a team environment, be highly motivated, and willing to learn new skills. Experience with the fasted paced startups is highly desired.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong networking background.
Experience with protocol analysis and network traffic analysis.
General Unix/Linux fundamentals
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative and accomplish tasks
Experience with Snort and MySQL a plus
4 to 7 years of experience in technical support, network administration, and security.
