Hi everyone, the recent question about task declaration to a Flarm unit has prompted me to ask if anyone had any success in declaring a task to a LX5000. I've tried declaring a task to the LX5000 but i get the "no instrument connected" message in XCSoar. I've tried doing this while the 5000 in the "transfer mode" and while it is just connected normally. The GPS type is set to LX in the coniguration and the connection between XCSoar and the LX5000 seems to work fine, the MC setting from the LX, as well as GPS and pressure alt data is transferred correctly to the PDA. My LX is running an older version of software (8.2) but I can declare tasks to it using ConnectMe.
On a nother note what is the chance that XCSoar could read a declared from a device?
