It occurs a lot, Mike. I've seen it firsthand and it's all over the
'net in videos. One particular example stands out in my mind - a
cruiser going into a corner (on the Dragon, IIRC), panicking and
driving off the road - then his buddies follow him. Why? Target
fixation.
