Ok. It is fine to use SOAP 1.2 But somehow you need to use annotation for SOAP
binding to enable it.

Attached is a sts wsdl of SOAP 1.1. We may just sick to it.

Since only security related tests are failing, there is probably something
wrong with your GlassFish setup. I looked at the configuration of
galapago.east:/files/share/workspaces/gfv3TP2/glassfish . One thing I noticed
is that you don't have the SSL listener enabled. I don't know if the tests are
using that but it's probably a good idea to switch it on in any case. Edit
glassfish/domains/domain1/config/domain.xml and replace what you have with this:

<http-listener default-virtual-server="server" security-enabled="true"
server-name="" address="0.0.0.0" port="8181" id="http
-listener-2">
<ssl ssl3-enabled="false" cert-nickname="s1as" />
</http-listener>

Also make sure you have the X.509v3 certificates installed. I installed the
ones from the qe-tests/gf-setup trunk, not the branch.

Now I ran the tests from the MTOM_INTEROP_UPDATE branch. I still get 38 out of
38 passes. I had to modify the same scripts as on HEAD. Note that I only made
the changes for the S->S "interop" tests.

I am running the tests like this:

This is a Netbeans tooling issue with the latest Netbeans nightly build.

Here is what we expect:

1. For "Version Compatibilityy .NET 3.0 / Metro 1.0", we expect the SOAP version
in the STS wsdl is SOAP 1.1, to be consistant with the previous versions.

2. For "Version Compatibility .NET 3.5/ Metro 1.3", we can always use soap 1.1
in the STS wsdl. If the SOAP 1.2 is to be used in the WSDL for the STS, then an
annotation
@javax.xml.ws.BindingType(value=javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPBinding.SOAP12HTTP_BINDING)
must be added to the STS implementation class to explicitly enable SOAP 1.2 for
the STS.

Following the instructions at:

https://metro.dev.java.net/guide/Example_Applications.html#ahiey

doesn't work. When creating the STS if I choose "Version Compatibility .NET 3.5
/ Metro 1.3" then it creates an STS WSDL file with a SOAP 1.2 binding. That
binding causes interaction with the STS to fail.

If I choose "Version Compatibilityy .NET 3.0 / Metro 1.0" then I get an error
that says it can't read the STS config.

I can't reproduce the S->S failures in my local environment. I get 38 passes
out of 38 for the mtom-interop-tango2tango tests.

I am running GF V3 b27-09_28_2008 and Metro 1.4-5002. I had to adapt some test
scripts to make sure that the Metro libraries in V3 are picked up.

I have spoken with Kumar about this. CommonServerSecurity pipe in v3 depends on
some security classes which are not yet in the workspace and he said he will
have that by oct 15 . Also this should not be a showstopper for wsit as all this
code is in v3 and affects only 109 tests

This bug says jsr109 tests are failing and Fabian has gotten 1032 closed since
tests worked for him. I do not consider that a release stopper if the normal SC
tests work. Also the fix for CommonServerSecurityPipe will be in v3 so metro
release should not be impacted by this.

Seems this is FastInfoset issue.
So the same bug could appear also with HTTP transport, when FI is enabled (unfortunately we don't
have such a test)

The latest FastInfoset 1.2.3 was integrated to WSIT [1]. It should fix the problem.

The HTTP transport error happened because the SSL listener was not enabled on
the server. Once I enabled it the test cases ran through.

Test cases sc32 and sc33 are still failing. However, they appear to use a STS
and I haven't configured any. It is safe to assume that they are failing
because of that.

this is a regression in the test code somehow, even though the test code didn't
change, so lowering priority, since Jitu says this is a test issue and not a
regression in the RI code.

Currently test case 23 always fails independently of the Java version. I tried
all four combinations of Java 5 and 6 on the server and the client. The things
that have changed since the last tests are Java 5 and 6 updates by Apple and I
am running later builds of GlassFish V3 and Metro.

show this problem noted above is not exhibited for jdk6 w/sjsxp.

the september 25th results Tango Dev (#wsit-nightly-1-4-20080925+GF-911) did
exhibit this error as shown above.

However the same dates results when running only jdk6 w/sjsxp show 100% pass,

This seems to be an issue with tests/test config.

Since the original reported bug wsit issue 1015 is no longer occurring, after
Jitu put in a workaround for
https://sjsxp.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=67 (he worked out the logic in
xmlstreambuffer code differently) we are now seeing this error for jdk5 w/sjsxp
and jdk6 w/woodstox; jdk6 w/sjsxp works fine. i'm closing the wsit issue 1015
bug as fixed, and i've opened this bug to track/troubleshoot this random error
in tx05 SQE funcitonal test, to see if it keeps occurring and determine why it
does so, if it occurs again.

I've open another bug under "tests" sub-category to track this "random" error:

This issue is resolved using HostnameVerifier in the client.

We will close this bug when all the tests update with the required change.

Include this code in the client.
