Tamarin vm/bytecode question: newactivation + the scope stack

Hello-

I've been playing around with the online as3 decompiler at
http://eval.hurlant.com/demo/ and I've got a question:

What happens when a new activation object is placed on the scope
stack?  Does it provide a (disposable) scope for disposable
properties?

The Adobe-provided "ActionScript Virtual Machine 2 (AVM2) Overview"
doesn't seem really clear.
