I can't find a tag for shopping mall. How do people tag them?

One ore more:
building=yes
name=*

Next to it one or several:
amenity=parking

then enclose them all in one:
landuse=retail

If the shopping mall consists of multiple buildings, then you could also put
the name of the whole mall on the landuse polygon.

Try "mall" in the search area of http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/ and
you'll get:
