Tables used for BPELSE persistence

Prashant,
The "Purge persistence data" action ONLY removes the completed instance like you said
in your email and it does not remove the running instances; I am wondering should it remove
them too?

This can also be done using the "Purge" action in the BPELSE. You can 
access this by going to 
Services->Servers->GlassFishV2->JBI->sun-bpel-engine and right click. 
The purge action will remove all the completed instances from the database.

No, they will not remove running instances. For that, you will have to
use the scripts that Philip pointed to.

 BTW, it also doesn't remove suspended instances. How important is it for you to remove the running instances as well? It is an open source project, :). you can contribute to it or file a bug for BPEL-SE (I think there is a bug already, go ahead and add your comments on it as well). Keep in mind that not every user may want to delete running, suspended, completed instances. These options need to be provided to the user.
