Hi,

I don't know anything about USB drivers.
The USB firmware provided from TI seems like uses driver provide from
TI instead of Windows standard driver(CDC),does it means that the
windows standard drivers cannot be used?
What would be merits of using those drivers provided from TI and will
there be problems with windows OS versions?

Thankyou......

Microsoft provided usbser.sys has many problems. Therefore
real USB to serial chips from vendors like FTDI, Silabs, Profilic
and TI all have their own drivers to achieve better performance
and better features. As long as the vendors keep supporting
new OS versions, you should be fine.

You can google for "usbser.sys bugs" and get many hits.
