Subject: Re: Measuring the Success of Celebratory Events
You can do a survey of those in attendance of the event asking them what
they thought. It doesn't need to be complicated or fancy (a 5 point strongly
agree, agree, neutral, disagree, strongly disagree) on how they liked the
presentations/panels, keynote, other events like lunch and the journal is one way
to measure. If the items that appear in the journal are selected by blind
review, you can state how many were submitted and of those how many were
published.
Good luck!

All,
I am applying for a grant to fund a student conference/luncheon and journal
that celebrates student writing. One question I have to address asks how I am
going to measure the success of the event.
Any ideas on how to measure this?
thanks,
Regina
