Dear all,

you'll find below an invitation to take part in a survey from researchers
participating in CALIBRE. Please you pay it special attention.

CALIBRE is an EU funded project focusing on FLOSS from business and
governmental perspectives. Some results are already available, which I
suggest you to investigate (http://www.calibre.ie/publications.php).

The forwarded message is below. Thanks for you help on behalf of CALIBRE.

Our research has revealed that many small FLOSS (free/libre/open source
software) firms participate in collaborative networks of FLOSS service
providers (usually third-party SMEs and Micro-firms) whose primary purpose
is to enhance the ability of member firms to deliver business value in
competition with larger firms and with other networks.

We are currently undertaking a survey of FLOSS firms in order to find out
more about the governance of FLOSS networks, and would like you to complete
this. Also, we would welcome responses from a number of people working in
each firm, so please forward to all colleagues who could be interested.

The survey is available at: http://www.calibre.ie/survey/index.php

We can assure you that any information that you provide will be treated in
strictest confidence, with results reported in aggregate form only. We would
be delighted to send you a copy of the results if you so wish. As a token of
our appreciation, we will be entering individuals that complete the survey
into a draw to win a Nokia 770 Internet Tablet.

Yours in FLOSS,

CALIBRE Researchers

Joseph Feller, Pat Finnegan, Brian Fitzgerald and Jeremy Hayes
