Strange problem with EPS attachments

hello, one of our clients phoned me this morning,
with a strange complaint about eps files. Problem is, when he received an attachment with eps extension, if he tries to open/download file from squirrelmail it just downloads a 0 bytes of attachment. Seems like an empty attachment itself. But if he connects to mail server with pine from command line.. and opens the mail and saves the attachment it saves the actual size of it.. More interesting part is if he creates a new mail with pine and reattaches the same attachment and mails to himself, he can open the attachment without a problem with squirrelmail. So i dont know why but for this specific attachment,squirrelmail can not download eps files maybe that comes from specific clients... By the way we tried with IE, Firefox and even from different computers...result is same. Not to accept mails from mac users? :) And it shouldnt be about the attachment itself i think. because he doesnt edit the attachment. Just open the mail with pine, save the attachment and resend the saved attachment and it works.. I don't want to type a bunch of notes for various scenarios. Answer the questions to help clarify the problem, and I'll answer based on that information. Are you saying that this problem is for files sent from an Apple computer? How big is that EPS file? What limits you have in your PHP memory_limit setting? Do you use some security filters or php cache/debug extensions? Which transfer encoding is used in eps attachment (base64, quoted-printable or 8bit) and which content type (application/octet-stream or application/postscript)?
