Hi Michael,
Maxim has one. Just keep it lightly loaded to keep heat down. The MAX3051.
Cheers,
Steve C.

Subject: [CANLIST] Small CAN transceivers?
Hi there folks - I just thought I'd check in on this topic again. I have an upcoming board that needs to be 12.5x34.5mm and have CAN connectivity. I'm praying that I do not have to use an 8-SOIC for the transceiver. Does anybody know if anybody has any small CAN transceivers out yet? Even if they're just sampling - I won't need more than about 10 for the next year or so. I would need them in something like 2 months or so.
Thanks!
-Michael
