Signal.fft question

[Sciss]

hi,

from the help file of Signal -> fft:

"Perform an FFT on a real and imaginary signal in place."

i cannot see anything going on inplace. the passed in real and imag  
signals seem to remain untouched, and the real and imag signals of  
the returned complex are newly allocated.

should the help file be changed?
