Idea Information Security offers security solutions to organizations of all verticals that are tailored around regulatory compliance and best practices. We offer complete security solutions pertaining to HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, GLBA and the Payment Card Industry.

Security Operations Engineer


Core Competencies:

5+ years in IT and Information Security in a large environment.  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical environment

Responsibilities:

Detection and Response for Information Security Operations

Operations of the following areas:
• Security Information and Event Management
• Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (Cisco)
• Incident Response Team
• Network Forensics Devices (Netwitness)
• Security Metrics
• Web Content Filter (Bluecoat / Websense)
• Threat Management
• Web Application Security




JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills Inventory:

• Active Directory: GPOs, Federation, Trusts, Architecture, Auditing
• System Security: Windows, Solaris, AIX, RedHat platforms – system hardening / build integration, system standards
• Network Security: Firewall, IPS, IDS
• Web Application Security:  Web Application Firewalls (Imperva or F5)
• CIRT Process
• Forensic Investigations
• SharePoint
• Penetration Testing
• Security Assessments

Other Key Skills:

Detail-oriented, razor-sharp focus on tasks and timeframes
