Scsynth real time memory preemption?

I'm talking about the ServerOption memsize...

On documentation i've seen that this is the
size of preemption memory.

I've a problem with .wav bigger than 30 MB,
it seems that scsynth cannot play them.
So i've thought that can be a low memsize value.

I've increased to 65538 (kb) but scsynth
termined with error 139. A value of 32769
make scsynth start, but is not enough for
playing my files

Note that my jackd is real time and the problem
happened only in real time mode, the files play
perfectly without it.

What can i do?

the memsize has to do with the realtime memory used for delays and the like.

buffers, such as used for playing files are allocated separately.

What are your realtime settings?
i.e. how much are you allowed to reserve for realtime memory?

(see /etc/security/limits.conf )
I have
@audio - rtprio 95
@audio - memlock 512000
@audio - nice -19
in there...

sincerely,
Marije
