Saving NetBeans IDE preference/options

In particular, now that I've gone to all the trouble to configure how my
Java editor behaves, can I save these configurations so that I can pass
them to another workstation, to a friend or restore them after
reinstalling NetBeans?

(Yes, I have browsed Help and the web for this.)
