Sarah's House

Forgive me but I have this wierd obsession with Sarah's house. I used to think that she owned the entire building but now I realise that it is one of those british two houses in one type set up.She actually owns the tall bit. I love the way it is decorated  and would like to see more of it in the coming series. We've seen the "family/sitting" room and the kitchen. And the room on the right as you walk in the door.....was that the lounge room that she first took Luke into in Invasin of the Bane? I notice it has pink walls. Not yellow like the sitting room. Who has noticed all the black and white photos of space landings and flights etc on the sitting room wall? I like the kitchen and can see greenery  out one window but the white shed out the other in some scenes. Can I assume that the greenery is inside some kind of conservatory? I'd love to see that and also get a tour of the whole garden. I would also like to see Luke's room next season and how it is set up. What he has in it etc. Even Sarah's room. What kinds of pictures does she have on her mantel/dressing table/chest etc. I've got a thing for houses. I like decoration and I love going thorugh display homes. It's cool.

Wow, Stardoe, you are incredibly observant when it come to the details in Sarah's house!!!    I am impressed.

Are you sure that Sarah only owns part of the house?  If so, then who lives in the other part--and doesn't that person wonder about the strange (and sometimes noisy) goings-on on the other side of the wall?

You're right, Sarah's house is completely gorgeous!
I'd really like to see a bit more of it next season.

You know I also too kind of a strange obsession of Sarah Jane's house.    What leaves me to my curiosity "what is that white bump out building, out there to the next house?

Yes, I believe she only owns the tall bit of the house. The front door leads into a area that is against a wall on the left but the rest of the house exists on the right. Also in What Happened to SArah Jane, there is another car parked in the driveway next to the door as Maria knocks on it and Andrea opens it. There's a kind of a hedge along that side. So it belongs to someone else. That part does not seem to have that tall attic part. But what I love about the house is the white glass window bit that sticks out off the first floor right side and also the white shed in the yard. I can only think it might be some sort of potting shed or it may even have glass roof panels on the other side so that is doubles as a kind of green house. I don't know but it all fascinates me and I'd love to see Sarah in the shed doing a bit of potting. An orchid here and a fern there. I'm oh so curious and if I had a million bucks I'd fly over there and check it out for myself.

I envy whoever really lives in that house. They should put up a plaque 'Sarah Jane lived here'. I know I would.
I would like to see Sarah's room, mostly because I just want to know what photos she'd have and I'd bet you anything she has a walk in wardrobe and thus the Andy-Pandy overalls would make a cameo appearence :) I'd like that.

Yes, that white building. Well it seems to be some kind of granny flat or potting shed or something. Studio of sorts. It is actually in Sarah's yard. Also around the back of the house are two glass sticky out windowy things. It's such a cool house but she only owns the tall bit because to the left of the door is a hedge and on the other side of that is another drive way with another car in it.  

Has anyone been to the SJA website? I am a bit disappointed with it. I would really love to have a website where you can get a proper virtual tour of the attic and the house. I am also disappointed that all the Dr Who pics etc have been removed from the attic on the show. I know they wanted to distance the show from DW a bit more but  I still think a nice framed pic of Harry or a cork board with a heap of pics from the past would be nice somewhere.

Also, does the attic have two doors? In the Lost Boy when Maria goes to tell Sarah that they are moving away, she seems to come from another direction that is opposite the main door they usually use. Down the back behind that day bed thing seems to be another part with a door at the end. YOu see in in Kudlak when Sarah is making that machine and Maria is on her computer. I get really curious about these things.

I know about white building part, I also wonder about the other house next to the white building?   Are they together or separate?
