Salvia Divinorum is a non-toxic, non-addictive, non-alkalloidal, mostly legal, supremely potent psychoactive herb which does NOT act on serotonin receptors in the same way as the more usual hallucinogenics. Indeed, Salvia is not a hallucinogenic, although it is entheogenic. It is associated with enhancing the LD/astral travel experience. Despite the active ingredient being the most powerful naturally occurring psychoactive chemical, it is impossible to overdose on it; ie. just because it is so potent does not mean it is poisonous. Salvinorin A & B (the psychoactive chemicals) are not prohibited in South Africa. Australia and a number of states in the USA have implemented legal restrictions. Do not use while pregnant.
