SH-09 filter

I have a Korg MS-10 and an SH-101. I strongly prefer the MS-10 filter. I love the wretched squelchiness. The SH-101's filter seem too even and clean. I like to turn the resonance up and the filter frequency about half way down. Square wave, PWM half way up. And a bit of filter cutoff on the envelope. Is the filter on the SH-09 closer to the SH-101 or the MS10? Thanks, Nathan |

recycle all those 106 chips where just the VCA has blown. then everyone can have an SH09 filter. >Yes, these are nice demos. And I hear what you mean. I'm sold > >Thanks for the input |

I can't imagine he can do four 662's for 55 euros. I built the 6110-version and even without calibration and with unmatched FETs it sounds pretty nice, but I have no way of comparing it to the 622-version. > curetronics now make a clone pcb of the roland m121 vcf that is identical to the sh09 vcf > > http://www.curetronic.com/curetrbau/neubau/100m.htm > > unpopulated pcb 9 euros, complete trimmed pcb 55 euros |

these classic Roland cascaded integrator filters. It'll have a few extra goodies attached too. In either 1U or 2U MOTM/Oakley format. The stripboard prototype has been tested, but the PCB prototype is not with me until next week. Hopefully, Oakley Modular - not me - will be able to release the board in a couple of months time. I would expect ready made modules to be available through Krisp1 shortly after. Tony www.oakleysound.com |

i wouldn't want to consume rare stock to build one of these things. >Although at that price, he will probably build his 6110-version. >I can't imagine he can do four 662's for 55 euros. > >I built the 6110-version and even without calibration and with >unmatched FETs it sounds pretty nice, but I have no way of >comparing it to the 622-version. > >>curetronics now make a clone pcb of the roland m121 vcf that is >>identical to the sh09 vcf >> >>http://www.curetronic.com/curetrbau/neubau/100m.htm >> >>unpopulated pcb 9 euros, complete trimmed pcb 55 euros |

IR3109 based filter, especilly circuits in JP8/JU6/JU60 are equally beautiful and liquid, in their own right. i would love if someone could figure out how to make a 12dB IR3109-based module copying one from JP8 schematic.. whoaaaa is that possible at all? -- --- Tomislav Babic www.babic.com - studio, mp3, info tomislav.babic@... |

output from pin 7 instead of pin 15. Leave the resonance path coming from pin 15 though.
