It was more than enough van for my route Even at Christmas. I used this van for about 5 months before I got an LLV assigned to my route. The conversion kit is brand new and the van runs great. New battery, New Front tires. It may need new back tires soon, but I'm willing to come down a little on the price. I'm trying to sell this van so I can pay it off and be done with it. I AM TAKING A LOSS TO UNLOAD IT. Between the purchase and the RHD kit / installation, I'm into this van for about 6K. All I want is to pay it off.<br>
<p>I'm asking for $4,500 but I am willing to take anything over $4,000</p>

<br>You should know that it is not a Grand Caravan so It does not have power windows or locks. That was never a problem for me because the climate here wasn't that bad and I didn't have to run the heat or A/C much.<br><br>
There are tracks in the cargo area for the removable seats. Mail trays slide around a little on these tracks. I put down a blanket in the back and the problem was solved.
<br><br>I've heard people complain about the conversion kits taking up too much room in the front. I'm 6'1" and I thought the van was comfortable.
<br><br>Right now, the van is just sitting in my driveway. I go out and run it for a few minutes on Sundays. It needs an oil change. I will go get that done before I turn it over to the new owner (I'll provide the Jiffy Lube paperwork if you don't trust me :)

<br><br> For those looking for a mail delivery vehicle, I have used this on a 48K Rural Route for the past two years driving a 50 mile a day. I have always been able to carry everything in one trip even with a heavy “L” route.

I tried to caulk around the windows for extra protection, not realizing that the clear caulk would attract any and all dirt making the caulk job look brown. <br><br>Jeep was purchased three years ago and had a complete new brake system intalled, new windshield, most of the engine accessories (electrical, pumps, alternator etc) replaced. Engine did well on a trickle down test but could use a head rebuild. Body and glass in good shape. Transmission rebuilt in fall of 2005 and only driven about 500 miles since then. Jeep has 4x 14" wheels with studded snow tires.

<br><br>Of course, any 37 year old postal jeep has it's gliches! This one has a broken speedometer cable, non working gas gage and a slow electrical drain which is compensated for with a battery switch. It does fine during normal driving and delivery but needs the switch off if jeep will be left unattended for more than 20-30 minutes to avoid drain on the battery.
