Roadmap for CAS DevelopmentWe're starting to put together an assessment of our future needs from
CAS here at Rutgers, and this seems to at least somewhat intersect with the future development of the project. With the ultimate goal of eventually assembling some sort of roadmap, we'd like to start by enumerating possible functionality changes or enhancements. I've already culled a few from this cas-dev in addition to the wishlist, but if you have any personal favorites, please throw them out there. To be clear, this isn't an "ask us and we'll code it for you" scenario. What gets on the roadmap will have to be determined by who can put what effort behind it. But we can worry about that when we get there :) Thanks, -Benn- _______________________________________________ cas-dev mailing list cas-dev@... http://tp.its.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/cas-dev |

Re: Roadmap for CAS DevelopmentDear Benn,
We have been using this project for 1,5 year. I want to share some suggestions. I hope, it helps you to the project's future needs. - "Remember me" function as google. - Posting username and password from another web site. Sometimes CAS's interface may not be useful. Many thanks for this project. Re: Roadmap for CAS DevelopmentIt would be really nice to have CAS redirect a user to a interstitial page that warns them that their password will soon expire and give them the opportunity to change it or provide a link to the account management system. The ability to insert interstitials could also be used for warning pages in the case of a campus emergency (a fire alarm has been reported in the building that you are in, based on your IP address, please exit the building). You can even use them for advertisements -- a great way to supplement our IT budgets! :)

Re: Roadmap for CAS DevelopmentIt
would be great to have a
ticket Admin GUI.
Especially, if you use long-term tickets (RememberMe),
it can be of great value to see all active tickets (with create time etc.)
and be able to delete tickets via
GUI.
