Ride picsHMR,
Thank you for sharing. There is so much inherent beauty in the world. Could you post a map to give us a glimpse of where you were on your trip? I think I have to make a pilgramage. :O) -Jesse |

Re: Ride picsJesse,
The Himalayas are simply a great gift for motorcyclists. It's like an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole that takes you on a magical trip everytime you visit it. And yes, you should make this pilgrimage ;-) Will try and post a kml file so you can see the route on Google Earth. The ride was in the Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh, India, a part of which was one of the old trading routes between India and Tibet Cheers HMR --- In royalenfield@..., "Jesse" <jest2@...> wrote: > > HMR, > > Thank you for sharing. Re: Ride picsThe dilemma is whether to enjoy the challenges that the ride brings or the phenomenal
panaromas one snakes through. Sometimes you give in to one impulse and sometimes to the other. The Bullet is just perfect for tasting each mile one way or the other. I used to tend toward the former, but as I get older I tend a little more toward the latter. Either way is good! Another dilemma is whether to concentrate on the ride, or to stop to take pictures. I used to take more pictures but then had to wait to look at the pictures to see where I had been. Now I tend to focus (heh) on the experience, but I'll take a picture or two if I'm by myself. If I were riding where you ride, I might be compelled to take a few more. Thank you for interrupting your ride long enough to share some photos with us. Cheers Rick F |

Re: Ride picsVery nicely put, HMR! No dilemma for me though - I've always just
liked life in the slow lane!
