Rich Client Window Positioning

Hello all,
I wrote a Rich Client Application starting with NB5.0. Currently I'm
moving it to NB6.1.
Can someone tell me how to configure a TopComponent that it's initially
displayed in the lower portion of the editor area?
How do I configure its initial height?

I searched in http://ui.netbeans.org/docs/ui/ws/ws_spec.html but I
didn't find a hint. Is there another resource where the required
settings are described?
