RedDot UK looking for new recruitsHi all
RedDot is currently expanding in the UK and we have number of positions we are seeking to fill - full details can be found at http://www.reddot.co.uk/company_careers.htm In summary we are urgently seeking the following; A service consultant with MS skills A service consultant with Java skills A tech support consultant - mainly MS but any Java experience also a bonus I have been with RedDot UK for six years -and I have been told by another vendor that if I was cut in half you would find the words 'RedDot' like in a stick of Blackpool rock - so I guess I am slightly biased - but these are some of the reasons I think its a great company - which may help anyone tempted; 1) It has an established global base of over 2000 customers and is acknowledged as a leading CMS solution. 2) RedDot is now a wholly owned subsidiary of OpenText Corp - so you get a small company feel at RedDot with a big company backing (and perks) 3) The average yrs of employment in the UK is nearly 4 years i.e. lots of the people who started with RedDot are still here because they enjoy it and want to be. Turnover is low and we have a management that strives to keep it that way. 4) Whilst other main CMS vendors in the UK have seen downturns - RedDot just keeps going onwards and upwards with proven year on year growth since opening the UK office in 2001. 5) The sales team are successful - which means that bonus's to other staff really do get paid and everyone shares in the success of the company. 6) The technical roles are hands on with no 'ring-fencing' of good projects i.e. we dont have a concept of 'juniors' in service. 7) RedDot funds further accreditation when relevant to the employee roles - e.g. PRINCE II certification for project manager service consultants. To avoid extending the use of this forum into a broadcast I should stop there........if you wish to talk to me off the record you can reach me at steve.williams@... - any cv details MUST be submitted to careers@... to be considered. AGENCIES PLEASE NOTE: We are open to submissions from agencies - but there are a few VERY strict rules to follow; 1) if you are a CV shifter and hoping to bombard us into submission dont bother - we have a pretty good spam filter ;-) and you will get black listed. 2) Preference is given to agencies who have seen the candidate AND you MUST confirm that you have gained their permission to submit for the role. Priority will be given to candidates who have been submitted in this manner. 3) A candidate should be genuinely interested in a career move - not just checking out the market - we appreciate this is sometimes difficult to ascertain but if you can provide evidence such as actively looking this will add weight to the CV. 4) RedDot UK is based in Wokingham and candidates must live within a commuting distance of this location or be prepared to move to the region (though the service roles involve UK wide travel). Please comfirm this with any submission. Failure to do so will result in other candidates being given priority. 5) If you think you have relevant candidates please restrict yourself to three CV's per email per job - this way you wont fall under 1) and get blacklisted - please mark clearly in the subject line for which job you are submitting and also detail in the covering email your standard recruitment fee.
