The tweener board exposes the console of the gumstix (FFUART).
By default UART-0 and UART-1 on the robostix aren't connected to
anything on the gumstix. You can hook up a logic-level to RS-232
adapter and see the output on your host machine.
You can connect them to the STUART port, and then write a program
which runs on the gumstix and reads the STUART port and prints the
output to the console. sertest is a program which can do this.
You can connect UART-0 to STUART by using two jumpers as shown on this page:
