Can anyone of the developers be kind enough to verify if this is a bug. I have done no coding of my own. I have deployed blank.wars for struts 2.0.11 and 2.1.2 on the same server both have form based authentication enabled. The following url works for 2.0.11
https://localhost:9445/struts2.0.11/example/HelloWorld.action .But this fail for 2.1.2
https://localhost:9445/struts2.1.2/example/HelloWorld.action !!! (page not found error)
Now if I enter
https://localhost:9445/struts2.1.2/index.hml Then the url is redirected to
https://localhost:9445/struts2.1.2/example/HelloWorld.action and it works !!!!.
As I mentioned before any url ending with "*.action" which is entered in a newly opened browser fails for 2.1.2
