You're welcome, glad I could help.
Unless you're specifically targeting the Suse distro, perhaps one of the
long-term support distros might be better, such as Ubuntu LTS, or the
generic version of Redhat Enterprise, CentOS, I think its called. There
are probably others out there, as well, that would provide a long term,
stable environment for you, as well as providing bug fixes.
