The trick here is to use the ajaxProcess option. Here is an example:
$(document).ready(function() {
$('a').each(function() {
var thisHash = this.hash;
$(this).cluetip({
ajaxProcess: function(data) {
var $div = $('<div></div>').append(data).find(thisHash);
return $div;
}
});
});
});
