Hey Bart,
as discussed before I think to create 2 different plugins, one of them using all selected Nurbs curves as input. And thats exactly what I wanted to use the python script for: to create an input_property for each selected mesh.
Okay, if I should use MergeMesh then I'll probably better add merging Nurbs in this one and use it in my plugin?

Looking good, but what do you mean with "test the python script for
user_input_property"?
As Joaquín said, I think the ConnectCurves plugin should just operate
on different curves of the same mesh. Combining different meshes into
one can be done using MergeMesh (not operational for NURBS yet, but it
soon will be).
