Yes, I've even made controller patches for specific synths completely out of "constant" modules and just assigned them MIDI CCs. Works like a charm and dosen't soak up any DSP to speak of.

how to then?
been trying to add some plugins on an audio track in Cubase, and can't
really see where i can add a specific CC to that.
that's in cubase, first of all, but the nord does send out the CC#1 no
matter which object in the editor i attach it too, so that's ok.
then i just need a patch with tons of nothing, where all the CC´s are
mapped out on the knobs.. and probably some paperwork to remember the
knobs anyway :D

but i'll use the contants, it takes up the least power.
